讲座题目：Title: Sparse representation method in solving classical and stochastic boundary and initial value problems, including those of fractional powers of differential operators.

摘要：Using matching pursuit methodology a boundary value with the Dirichlet problem can be expressed as fast convergent series of the corresponding parameterised potential kernels. Then the potential integral operator is applied to the sparse representation of the boundary value. The term by term lifting up based on the semi group property of the potential kernel (the Huigens principle) then gives rise to the desired solution. Such methodology is applicable to the heat equation and a number of equations with fractional powers of differential operators, as well as to some types of stochastic partial differential equations.

个人简介：钱涛教授，澳门科技大学教授，澳门数学研究中心主任，博士生导师。1984年博士毕业于北京大学。1984-1986年于中科院数学所做博士后。1986-1992年于麦考瑞大学和弗林德斯大学做博士后研究工作。1992-2000年于澳洲新英格兰大学任讲师。2000年-至今于澳门大学历任副教授，教授，系主任，特聘教授。2019年-至今任澳门科技大学教授，澳门数学研究中心主任。研究兴趣包括调和分析，信号分析，单与多复变量之复分析，四元数及Cilfford 分析。近年来的主要研究课题包括信号的自适应Fourier分解及其应用。其中名为“瞬变信号的自适应正频率分解及算法实现"于2012获得澳门自然科学一等奖。迄今发表200多篇论文，出版多部研究著作，同时担任SCI数学期刊MMAS,CAOT,CVEE的编委
